Australia Peru Chamber of Commerce (APCCI)

APCCI in Australia is alive to support every Australian and Peruvian business to enter each other market in innovative and creative ways and to create strong partnerships, to promote collaborative sustainable practices and social awareness.

Our aim is to foster and strengthen bilateral trade and investment and position ourselves as strategic link between Australian and Peruvian business communities, government, academia and civil society, advocating, promoting, organising events, creating digital platforms, participating in fairs and supporting business missions.

APCCI Australia aims to make an impactful contribution to the design of corporate standards and practices and public policies. Therefore, will develop relationships between Australia and Peru utilizing digital technology that will be meaningful, impactful and sustainable for relevant stakeholders to identify strategic collaboration and further engagement opportunities. 

We are looking forward the Free Trade Agreement with Peru which marks a new era in the bilateral relationship and delivers a wide range of benefits for Australian and Peruvian exporters.

The costs of exporting Australian goods and services to Peru have dropped overnight as Peru has eliminated tariffs on 93.5 per cent of its tariff lines, climbing to 99 per cent in five years.

The agreement creates opportunities for Australian companies in areas where Australia has real expertise and a strong international reputation for quality,  including mining, agriculture, water and medical technology.

PAFTA will provide duty free access for Australian mining machinery, equipment and parts, it will help make premium-quality Australian products an even more accessible and cost-effective proposition.

We welcome expressions of interest of Australian businesses willing to know more in depth about certain aspects of PAFTA and to help them advocate in topics as double taxation. 

APCCI has currently Directors in Sydney, Melbourne and Perth and looks forward to expanding to Queensland and South Australia.
