NewRange Copper Nickel is a U.S.-based, 50/50 joint venture between subsidiaries of Glencore and Teck Resources, located in Minnesota's historic iron mining region. Formed in 2023, NewRange holds two globally significant polymetallic resources containing copper, nickel, cobalt, and platinum group metals (PGMs). Its near-term NorthMet project is advancing through environmental review and permitting and is designated a FAST-41 Transparency Project. The multigenerational Sunrise Project is at an earlier stage of study and development.
