Melton White has been committed to the Mideco groups success in the dust control industry for over 30 years.

Melbournian born and bred, Melton graduated from Swinburne University with a Bachelor of Business. He joined Mideco in 1994 and worked his way up from a sales representative to the CEO in 2004.

Melton has a firsthand appreciation of Occupational Health and Safety issues having lost a mentor and a company as a result of them.
Melton is also the person behind Mideco’s star personnel de-dusting system, the Bat Booth. Having taken ideas originally proposed by NIOSH, writing a product design brief and managing and funding a team while developing the system. The Bat Booth was successfully launched in 2014 and has been installed at multiple work sites in Australia, in Canada and now in America.

In 2020, reacting on COVID19 global crisis, the company has launched Bat Booth 2.0 – personnel de-dusting system with a body temperature monitoring and real-time reporting function. 

This led to the development of a totally new product – Bat Station – a separate body temperature scanning and real-time reporting device. 

Bat Booth 2.0 and Bat Station are unique products which provide control over people flow at a site of any scale and nature while monitoring health condition of every single user. Mideco’s innovations are ready to be integrated into customers’ internal HR, accounting and HSE monitoring systems.

The launch of the high-tech Bat- equipment product line under Melton’s management has started the new era of Mideco. The company is now focused specifically on Occupational Health and Safety along with providing of dust control solutions for industries.
