Dr Rob Hough is the Science Director and Deputy Director for Mineral Resources in Australia’s science agency, the CSIRO.  The applied research entity has over 300 researches in Mineral Resources, working with government and the minerals exploration and mining industry from discovery to supply.  He formerly led the mineral exploration research program in CSIRO, working with exploration companies and the geological surveys to develop technologies and knowledge to improve discovery success rates across a range of commodities and scales.  He is a geologist with over 20 years’ experience in applied research and a passionate advocated for innovation that can support the industry, and to guarantee our sustainable and long tern future resource supply.
