As global competition for critical minerals accelerates, strong governance, transparency and traceability are becoming increasingly important to building secure, responsible and resilient supply chains. This exclusive, invitation-only dialogue, presented by EITI and Transparency International Australia, will bring together senior government, industry and civil society leaders to examine how governance and integrity can support investment, community trust and long-term competitiveness across the critical minerals value chain.

Drawing on global experience from EITI and Transparency International’s Accountable Mining Programme, the discussion will explore emerging governance risks and international best practice, while considering Australia’s role in the evolving global critical minerals landscape. The session will feature perspectives from Maria van der Hoeven, EITI Board Chair; Dr Mark Robinson, Executive Director, EITI; Rohitesh Dhawan, President and CEO, ICMM; and senior government and industry representatives.
