Austdac carry out manufacturing, design, system engineering and sales in the mining industry and local industrial sector. Today it is one of Australia’s largest suppliers of communications, gas monitoring, I.S. lighting and conveyor control equipment to both Australian and overseas mines and general industry. We are a leading global supplier of conveyor monitoring, control and communication systems with installations in USA, China, South Africa, UK, Russia to name a few. Specialising in equipment for electrical and electronic areas including conveyors systems, industrial and communication phones systems for hard rock mining, coal mining, general mineral mining, the renewable sector and Construction segments.

Austdac offers our customers a wide variety of services both in our accredited Repair Centres and onsite. We are committed to providing quality products and services that will meet and exceed our customer expectations. We provide services relating to communications, gas monitoring systems, safety equipment, intrinsically safe lighting, power supplies and conveyor control equipment to coal mines and general industry in Australia and around the world. Worldwide we have over 2000 conveyor and 100 longwall installations with many in operation for over 15 years.

Austdac is a fully integrated company with a Research and Development (R & D) division designing products to world standards, particularly in intrinsic safety, to meet the demands of mining and industrial markets. Together with our R & D division, our manufacturing and Assembly facility ensures the production of reliable and quality finished products. Our head office is in Sydney with a Mackay QLD branch and also capability in WA. Austdac Pty Ltd is NATA, ANZEx and IECEx accredited and DII licensed as an approved workshop and manufacturer, providing intrinsically safe equipment to AS3800, AS/NZS ISO/IEC 17020, ANZEx and IECEx standards. The manufacturing and repair workshops are managed and overseen by competent persons qualified under AQF competency standards for the electronics industry.
