Island Passage Exploration Ltd. was created as a sole purpose entity to option, finance and conduct mineral exploration on the EL02 Tenement on the Island of Bougainville, Papua New Guinea (PNG).
Bougainville is a semi autonomous region within Papua New Guinea that is governed by the Autonomous Bougainville Government (“ABG”)
The rights to EL02 are held by Isina Resource Holdings Limited (IRHL), a Bougainvillean customary landowner company that was formed to represent the interests of local landowners that provides for ownership, access and conditions of access.
Island Passage was invited in August of 2022 to partner with the local landowners for the development of EL02 through a typical earn in structure.
