Liberate Minerals Limited

Liberate Minerals is an Australian critical minerals technology company developing a closed-loop, low-energy refining pathway to unlock maximum value from complex ores, concentrates and mineral waste streams.

Its proprietary Resource Maximisation Process is designed to recover multiple high-value products from complex feedstocks, including lithium carbonate, rubidium, caesium, tantalum, niobium and high-purity silica. The technology has also been applied to the purification of natural graphite for anode-grade applications.

By moving beyond single-commodity processing, Liberate aims to improve project economics, reduce waste and enable lower-cost, near-source production of strategic mineral products. The company is advancing toward pilot scale and working with miners, resource owners and strategic partners to support sovereign critical minerals refining and more resilient supply chains.

The Resource Maximisation Process has been validated at laboratory scale across priority product streams, with bulk samples independently assayed by third-party analytical laboratories. Liberate was named Winner of the Supercharge Australia Innovation Challenge #3, delivered through EnergyLab and New Energy Nexus, recognising the company’s high-efficiency, low-emissions approach to critical minerals processing. The company is now advancing toward pilot scale with strategic industry engagement, including ASX-listed resource partners.
