OreStrike

OreStrike is developing a breakthrough ore pre-treatment technology designed to address one of the mining industry's most pressing challenges: rising energy consumption and processing costs driven by declining ore grades and increasingly competent ores. Developed at The University of Queensland, the technology uses high voltage pulse (HVP) fragmentation to selectively break and separate ore particles based on their mineral composition in a single continuous process. Unlike conventional crushing, grinding and sensor-based sorting systems, OreStrike targets mineral boundaries within the ore, enabling valuable material to be liberated and concentrated with significantly greater efficiency.
