Reward Minerals is Australia's most experience Potassium Sulphate (SOP) development company and has recently invented new SOP processing technology (Reward Process) that has the potential to positively transform the industry. It can be used to recovery high-purity SOP from seawater and other high-sulphate brines.
The first engineering scoping study (ESS) using the process will aim to demonstrate a very simple process, low capital and very low operating costs compared to current technology. The ESS will describe a SOP project that is designed to be "bolted on" to an existing solar seawater salt operation with SOP starting brine taken from the discard brine "Bitterns" from the salt operation.
A project using the Reward Process can be one of the most ESG responsible projects in the world.
The production of SOP in Australia has been a complete failure to this point and Reward is set to reverse that.
