Moog Australia’s core business involves the design, manufacture, supply and sustainment activities of high precision and critical motion control products and systems. These products and systems are utilized in markets including Defence, Mining, Power Generation and Industrial Machinery where precise, reliable motion control is required, sometime in harsh environments.
Moog Australia currently provides various products and systems into the Mining sector, including rotary joints for stacker-reclaimers used in material handling, valves for underground mining and manifolds for dragline excavators. Globally, Moog Pan and Tilt systems are utilised for mounting spectral analysers at mine sites to detect dangerous gas and particle emissions.
Moog Australia has been exporting locally manufactured DIN electronics to Moog subsidiaries globally, for use in critical motion control applications within Industrial Markets.
Moog Australia also provides OEM factory repairs for countries in the Pacific region.
