When it comes to delivering great connectivity to its enterprise and business customers, TPG Telecom leaves no stone unturned. This year we successfully deployed our Mobile Private Network (MPN) to @Yancoal’s tier one Mt Thorley Warkworth (MTW) mine site, delivering a ‘game-changing’ connectivity boost for the site. Our enterprise-grade MPN operates as a secure, standalone mobile network covering the MTW site alongside our established public mobile network, using low bandwidth spectrum to provide reliable, fast and secure connectivity. The solution has increased network coverage to approximately 99 per cent across the mine, allowing Yancoal personnel to securely communicate on site without drop-outs, support employee safety and drive productivity and efficiency improvements for the real-time management of the company’s fleet of vehicles.
