In September 2017, Publishing ByChelle (founded and directed by Michelle Hespe) won the exclusive contract to publish Rex Airlines’ inflight magazine, True Blue. Rex airlines is Australia’s largest independent regional airline, and True Blue is the longest, continually running inflight magazine in Australia.

Rex has a fleet of 66 aircraft, flying to over 60 destinations across Australia and servicing New South Wales, South Australia, Victoria, Queensland, Tasmania and Western Australia. Rex subsidiary Pel-Air also has 18 aircraft.

As around 50 per cent of Rex passengers are travelling for business, a business magazine called AusBiz. was launched within the travel magazine, across social media and online.

In mid-2022, Rex joined forces with Delta Air Lines, meaning Rex passengers can enjoy a seamless experience travelling around Australia and then through Sydney and on to the US. Pel-Air also services the mining and agricultural industry, taking professionals to and from work. Many government officials and VIP travellers also use these planes for business trips across Australia.

In 2022, Rex purchased the Australian arm of Cobham Aviation, rebranding it to be National Jet Express (NJE), which is set to become the largest FIFO (Fly-In-Fly-Out) airline in Australia.

Today, AusBiz. can be found on all Rex, Pel-Air and NJE planes (with a reach of 3.2 million passengers), on Instagram (@ausbizmedia), with all stories from the print magazine being published online at ausbizmedia.com. AusBiz. is also on Linkedin as AusBiz and our newsletter is sent out to 12,000 engaged subscribers.

AusBiz. is now celebrating its sixth year in business, and it is a highly engaging business publication sharing news pieces and feature articles on mining, agribusiness, finance, property, philanthropy, small business and governmental issues.
