Amy Lamb MAusIMM(CP)

Amy Lamb brings 30 years of experience in the global mining industry, holding degrees in Chemical Engineering (BS), Metallurgical Engineering (MS) and an Executive MBA.  She is a graduate of the AICD Directors’ Course and volunteers on the Production Centre Advisory Council for the Sustainable Minerals Institute at the University of Queensland.

Her expertise spans multi commodity technical and production management, strategy development, strategic planning and project management.  Amy has held senior operational and corporate roles at Rio Tinto and MMG, contributing to major technical, operational and organisational transformations.

Amy is recognised for her calm executive presence, strong commercial judgement and collaborative boardroom style.  She is skilled in supporting management while providing independent challenge and strategic insight and is respected for her ability to bring people together around shared purpose and practical action.

With a deep passion for the mining industry and extensive experience leading transformational change, Amy is well placed to serve the AusIMM community.  Her focus is meeting the future needs of the sector by supporting the development of competent, ethical and innovative professionals who uphold the values that define AusIMM.
