Ben Edwards

Ben Edwards is an experienced Mining Engineer with over 15 years industry experience across multiple open cut and underground hard rock operations throughout Australia.

Throughout his career Ben has held a variety of rolls from typical Mining Engineering roles, through to Business Improvement, Operations, Technology Projects, Site Operations Centre’s, and leading significant Mining Projects. Ben’s passion lies in being on site working with and leading operational teams and throughout his experience has developed a sound understanding and knowledge that “people make the project” and that information made available by technology to our people can add immense value in safety and productivity for our underground operations. More recently, Ben has taken on the role of Underground Development Manager at Southern Cross Gold’s Sunday Creek Project, leading the construction of Victorias first new Box-cut and Exploration Decline in the state in ~20 years.
