Bernadette has three decades of experience in engineering and mineral processing, having worked on resources projects and studies across North and South America, Africa and Australia. Her experience spans major mining companies including Xstrata/Glencore, BHP and Rio Tinto; mid-tier engineering service companies such as Sedgman and Ausenco and OEMs including FLSmidth and Knelson.
As a process engineer and passionate champion of the circular economy, her technical expertise lies in hydrometallurgy for base, critical and battery metals, including the recovery of value from secondary sources such as mine waste and e-waste.
In 2020, Bernadette earned an MBA from UQ and recently founded Betallurgy, a consultancy working with junior and start-up companies to develop greenfield resources and deploy novel and innovative technologies. In her new fractional role with UniQuest as OreStrike’s Interim CEO, will she her launch of High Voltage Pulse technology into the mining sector.
