Celine is a Mining Engineering student at the University of New South Wales and a cadet with Yancoal, currently working as a Short-Term Planning Design Engineer. She has gained diverse operational and technical experience across open cut and underground sites including Mount Thorley Warkworth, Moolarben, Ashton Underground, and Cameby Downs.
Her exposure spans drill and blast, machinery operation, scheduling, productivity optimisation and short-term planning, with a focus on dump and haul design. Her recent role, managing multiple dump areas at a tier-one operation has since inspired her thesis on dump stability.
She holds leadership roles with the AusIMM Sydney Student Chapter and UNSW’s MERE Society, and is passionate about safety, innovation, and mentoring the next generation of leaders.
