David Gollan is the Leader of DXC Technology’s Global Mining Innovation Centre, where he advises mining companies on the adoption of emerging technologies that improve productivity, safety, and sustainability.
Working with many of the world’s largest miners, he focuses on artificial intelligence, mine electrification, autonomous operations, digital twins, cyber security, and operational technology. With more than 30 years of experience spanning mining and technology, David has held senior technology leadership positions with two of the world’s largest mining companies, serving as CIO of BHP Nickel West and in a global executive technology leadership role with Newmont. He has led major business transformation, automation, asset management, and digital innovation programs across global mining operations. Today, he works with mining executives to harness technology to create safer, smarter, and more sustainable mines.
