Elena has over 20 years experience in stakeholder engagement, communications, community research and social impact management for government, energy, resource and infrastructure sectors. Elena has a comprehensive understanding of international best practice social frameworks (IFC, World Bank) and has successfully completed community relations and research for projects located throughout Australia and in Africa, Timor Leste and Papua New Guinea.   

 

Her areas of expertise include stakeholder and community engagement, Indigenous engagement and participation, government relations, landholder liaison, communications, strategic planning, social risk management, social impact assessment and management, project management, interface management and local content.

Elena specialises in social licence solutions and her projects have been publicly praised by the Government for their responsiveness to community interests and concerns.

Elena’s current position at Advisian focuses on providing strategic social research and stakeholder engagement services to clients to support project development and operations. Prior to joining the Worley Group, Elena’s community engagement experience is particularly evidenced by her appointments as Queensland Events and Cultural Stakeholder Manager for Attorney-General’s Department and her work with Department of Foreign Affairs (International Organisations – Human Rights).
