Gan-Ochir is a highly experienced mining executive with more than 20 years of leadership across mining operations, mineral exploration, and mining finance. He has served in board and senior management roles with Aspire Mining Ltd and Oyu Tolgoi LLC, providing strategic oversight in project development, governance, and corporate growth.
Gan-Ochir holds mining qualifications from Haileybury School of Mines, Canada, and the Mongolian University of Science and Technology, as well as a Master of Science in Finance from the NYU Stern School of Business and HKUST Business School. He is also a Member of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (AusIMM).
