Ma’aden

Hamad Al-Rashidi joined MA’ADEN in 2007 and has held multiple positions; who has more than 27 years of experience in petrochemicals and minerals processing industry.  

He served as Vice President – Corporate EHSS & Sustainability before he stepped into his new roles as SVP.   Al-Rashidi was the President of MA’ADEN Wa’ad Al-Shamal Phosphate Company (MWSPC), where he led the company’s formation. Prior to this, he was Project Director in the King Abdullah Project for the development of the Wa’ad Al-Shamal Industrial City, and Director for Engineering and Project Expansions at MA’ADEN Phosphate Company (MPC).

Before joining Ma’aden, Al-Rashidi held several prominent leadership roles at SAFCO, leading a spectrum of engineering and project management functions.

In addition to his current role, Al-Rashidi is also the President of Ma’aden Fertilizer Company (MFC); Chairman of Meridian Consolidated investment Limited (MCIL) ; Board Member of Ma’aden Aluminum Company (MAC); Board Member of Ma’aden Waad Al-Shamal Phosphate Company (MWSPC); member of Saudi Mining Polytechnic (SMP) Board of Trustees; Secretary General of Traffic Safety Committee at Northern Border Region; and Board Member of Sa’ed Charity. 

Al-Rashidi holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from King Fahad University of Petroleum and Minerals, and has completed several Professional courses from institutions including London Business School.
