James leads the global product organisation for Hexagon Mining, with responsibility for product strategy and execution across Hexagon's Safety, Operations, and Resource Optimisation portfolios. Having joined Hexagon in 2021, James has helped expand Hexagon's breadth of solutions and capability across mining operations, including new product development and integration of acquired companies' solutions into Hexagon's mining portfolios.
James has over 25 years of experience in product, marketing, commercial, and business development leadership across mining, enterprise software, and telecommunications. Prior to Hexagon, he held global commercial leadership roles at Orica, including Global Head of Commercial & Marketing for Drill & Blast Digital Solutions and Senior Manager Global Accounts. He has also held senior product and commercial roles at Igloo Software, Telstra, Vodafone, and 3 Mobile.
James holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing & Information Systems from UNSW, Australia, and is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
