Jan is the Managing Director of Hatch in Australia and Asia, a leading global services firm specialising in mining and metals, energy, infrastructure and digital technologies. 

With more than three decades of experience at Hatch, Jan has cultivated a hands-on approach to the business, playing a pivotal role in its growth to its current state. 

Alongside his obligations at Hatch, Jan is a director of EnviroMets, the Chairperson of the Australian Hydrogen Consortium and an active member of multiple industry associations, including the Development Partner Institute and AusIMM. He is also dedicated to a range of Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives supported by the National and global Hatch team. 

Jan is a strong advocate of inclusive cultures in engineering and the workplace. He believes that all who show passion and dedication to their vocation should have a chance to grow and thrive. At Hatch we believe in ‘Engaging great people who make a difference.’
