John Krbaleski is the Head of Resources Branch, within the Department of Jobs, Precincts and Regions. He leads a Branch of over 200 staff delivering policy, programs and regulation to enable investment and generate jobs through the sustainable development of the State's earth resources, including extractives, minerals and petroleum.
John has over 20 years’ experience in developing and implementing energy and resources policy in Australia and overseas. He previously led the Climate Change Authority’s review of the Renewable Energy Target and has also worked on assignment for the International Energy Agency.
John holds an honours degree in Economics, is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and has completed the Senior Executive Fellows Program at the Harvard Kennedy School.
