Keisha is in her Third year of a Bachelor of Honours in Mining Engineering at UNSW. Having been born and raised in the Central West, she is not shy of the rurality of the mining industry, and is keen to get involved wherever she can.
Having grown up near mining sites, she is passionate about educating individuals on the importance of mining, for both the surrounding communities, and the economy, whilst also acknowledging the gravity of protecting sacred lands and ensuring we are working towards a greener future. Her involvement with organisations like AusIMM, MERESoc, and WIMNET, as well as her participation in the National and Indonesian Student Mining Games has made her extremely excited to further explore her skills and meet more people. She is very passionate about the power of networking and its potential to aid in expanding industry knowledge and building valuable relationships.
IMARC's Talk It Forward Dialogue provide a platform for engaging in challenging conversations and discussing pivotal issues that will drive the mining industry forward in an open roundtable setting.
