Kenna O’Neill serves as the External Affairs Manager for the American Exploration & Mining Association (AEMA), a 131-year-old national trade association representing more than 1,800 members across the hard rock minerals industry in North America. Since joining AEMA in 2019, she has led several key initiatives, including the launch of a new website, the revitalization of the association’s public outreach committee, and significant growth in AEMA’s social media presence.
Kenna also helps lead AEMA’s national public relations campaign, I Am Mining, and facilitates the AEMA Society, the association’s nationally recognized mentorship program for students and early-career professionals. In addition to her work with AEMA, she serves on the executive committee of the Women’s Mining Coalition.
