Lori-Anne Fleming

Lori-Anne Fleming, a Canadian, graduated from Cambrian College of Applied Arts and Technology.  She began her career as a Geologist working underground at Barrick’s Williams gold mine, later moving into their engineering department.

She joined Atlas Copco Mining and Rock Excavation in Canada, holding roles ranging in responsibility from the national sales and marketing of underground equipment to global roles in business transformation, organizational change and sales processes.

Epiroc and Atlas Copco shared their history until June 18, 2018, when Epiroc was distributed to Atlas Copco's shareholders and became a stand-alone listed company.  With these changes came a renewed focus on Epiroc’s global customers and Lori-Anne took on the responsibility for those head quartered in the Americas.  An experience that brought sharply into focus how technology could remove people from exposure to harmful energy while interacting with equipment.

Epiroc identifies a task that places personnel in the Line-of-Fire of un-isolated or energized equipment with the potential for serious injury or death Live Work.  Lori-Anne has relocated to Örebro Sweden with the mission to facilitate Live Work Elimination (LWE) across all products helping to create a standard and culture.  Epiroc is committed to utilising technology to remove people from the risk today while developing solutions for the future.
