Ming Wong

Mr. Wong Ming Fai has over 20 years of experience involving in strategic advisory, capital market, corporate finance and M&A services in Greater China and Asia Pacific.

He has been working with Zhejiang Huayou Cobalt Company Limited involving in strategic investment and project development, particularly relating to Australia and the global lithium and EV-related sectors. Before Zhejiang Huayou Cobalt Company Limited, Mr. Wong worked in various well-known investment banking institutions, such as China Construction Bank, Standard Bank, Credit Suisse, and BNP Paribas. Since 2010, Mr. Wong has successfully completed projects with an accumulated transaction value of more than US$20 billion, providing equity, debt, leverage and structured finance services to Chinese/overseas enterprises and financial institutions.

Mr. Wong holds a double bachelor’s degree in law and commerce from Australia (the University of Adelaide), a postgraduate diploma in applied finance and investment from The Securities Institute of Australia, as well as professional qualifications with The Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and The High Court of Australia for a legal practicing certificate (ACT), of which he has extensive overseas and China cross-border experiences.
