Nikki Hartrey joined Fosterville Gold Mine in 2019 and leads the people function for Agnico Eagle in Australia. A senior human resources professional who has held a range of leadership roles across the both the resources industry and government agencies since commencing with Barrick Gold in 2007 including operational roles in WA, NSW and now Victoria.
In 2021 Nikki was named the MCA’s Gender Diversity Champion at the Victorian Women in Resources Awards, recognising excellence in the encouragement, promotion and advocacy for the attraction, retention and promotion of women in the Australian resources sector.
Nikki who spent a decade in classrooms before finding her place in the resources industry, holds a Bachelor of Education and is driven by a strong passion for developing career pathways and high-quality learning and development opportunities that support not only the longevity of our industry but the rural and regional communities we operate in.
