Paul McDonald is the Director, Geological Survey of Victoria in Resources at the Department of Jobs, Precincts and Regions. 

He is responsible for the oversight of the Geological Survey's strategic direction and operations, including minerals, petroleum, geothermal, information management and hydro geoscience. He is a geoscientist with a Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree in geology and geophysics with 30 years’ experience in government and the private sector.
