Paul Pryor is Aon’s Global Mining Practice Leader with more than 36 years’ experience advising mining organisations on risk management, risk financing and complex insurance solutions. Before joining Aon in 2016, he led mining practices across Asia Pacific, South Africa and London in senior roles with Marsh, Bowring Marsh and Alexander Forbes.
A qualified professional engineer, Paul holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce. He is highly regarded across the global mining and insurance sectors and is a regular speaker, author and contributor to industry forums, including serving on the Board of the Mining Insurance and Risk Association (MIRA) for more than nine years. Based in Melbourne, he supports mining clients and specialists across Aon’s global network.
