Rena Guenduez is a distinguished transformation and change management expert with a profound understanding of the intricate social, economic, and environmental interconnections that are crucial to bridging relationships, creating a common understanding, and meeting needs between government, industry, and communities.   

As a seasoned professional with a background in sustainable development and resource management, she provides international leadership and project management skills to the likes of bi-lateral and donor organizations, industry, civil society organizations, and government with an aim to enhance environmental, social and governance initiatives leading to sustainable development outcomes.  Rena has worked in complex international environments and conflict zones within the extractives sector in the Middle East, Americas, Africa and Asia.  As a technical advisor she provides ongoing strategic guidance and technical support to reduce stakeholder risk, assess sector impacts, implement comprehensive social management and ESG’s strategies that maximize benefits and opportunities through innovative, "out of the box," pragmatic plans and initiatives. 

Rena is currently the Team Lead for the Australia Mongolia Extractives Program (funded by DFAT and AusAid) whose program objective is to strengthen and support Mongolia’s investment climate through the active collaboration of government, industry, and civil society.  The AMEP program is being implemented by Adam Smith International.
