Rob is the Senior Manager of Technology for Gold Fields. He leads the mining technology strategy and implementation for the Groups global assets. He specialises in assessing and delivering innovative projects and technology that improve safety, production, decarbonisation and provide a benefit to the business across the full value chain.
Rob brings over 20 years of experience across fixed and mobile plant control and automation, robotics, electrical and mechanical maintenance and engineering and has been involved in leading teams to successfully deliver projects across all key global mining regions including Australia, Africa, Russia, US, Canada, South America and Pacific Ocean (PNG and Indonesia). While his expertise is in the mining and metals sector, he also has experience in manufacturing and industrial environments.
