Rob is the Vice President of Global Commercial and Supply Chain at South32, a role he has held since 2020. He previously served as Vice President Operations for both the Cannington Mine and Groote Eylandt Mining Company. With over 30 years of international experience across multiple commodities and aspects of the value chain, Rob brings deep operational and commercial expertise to the resources sector.
He holds an Honours Degree in Mining Engineering and a Master’s Degree in Finance. Rob is a Graduate Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and an alumnus of the INSEAD LEAP program. He currently serves as a Director of the Queensland Resources Council and several South32 subsidiary companies.
A committed advocate for diversity and inclusion, Rob has been actively involved with Women in Mining and Resources Queensland since 2019, serving as Co-Chair from 2021 to 2025.
