Rob graduated as an Earth Scientist (Geology & Geophysics) in 1970 and in July 23 recorded 52 Years as a continuously self-employed professional. Over that period Rob has been a contractor & a consultant, including periods as the contract CEO of ASX, TSXV & AIM-listed junior resource companies.

Since retiring from active field & corporate life in 2015 Rob has been providing independent advice on resource projects including by way of the AUSTEX PACKAGE OF ASX RESOURCE OPPORTUNITY Reports.

Rob’s Experience Includes:

RESOURCE PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Rob led the team that took the world-class Tier 1 Medhiabad Zinc Project in Iran from concept to BFS sign off.
Rob has developed and operated several gold mines in Western Australia, New South Wales and Queensland.
Rob has managed exploration programs in all Australian states and the Northern Territory, PNG, Europe, Africa & Asia.
The exploration has included project where the focus was oil and gas, coal, uranium, iron ore, gold, silver, copper, zinc, chromium, rare earths and graphite.

LISTED COMPANY MANAGEMENT
Rob has been the CEO or Chairman of Junior Resource Companies listed on the ASX, AIM and TSXV Market. Rob has also been a director of listed technology and telecommunication companies. Rob had well over 25 years of Listed Company Director experience.

CAPITAL RAISING FOR RESOURCE COMPANIES
Rob has managed the raising of well over $100M of capital for mineral exploration, feasibility studies and development of resource projects in Australia, PNG, Asia, the Middle East, Europe and North America.

EXPLORATION SUCCESS
Exploration teams managed by Rob have added tens of billions of dollars to the insitu value of known mineral and energy resources. Some of which are today or have been operating mining projects.

SUCCESSFUL NEGOTIATIONS
Finalised agreements for land access for exploration and mining in some difficult parts of the world, including years as a Director of an Iranian JV Company managing the Medhiabad Zinc Project.
