Simon Cohn is a mining engineer with extensive expertise across a range of commodities and jurisdictions gained from his 28+ year career in the mining industry. He is currently a Director of TSXV listed Vten Metals Corp & Q2 Metals Corp.
Mr. Cohn is also co-founder of Singapore based Ortus Mining Capital and Australian based Mining Projects Accelerator with both companies focused on project generation and developing early stage exploration assets progressing them through to commercialization, generating returns via several on-market transactions and a successful ASX IPO. Mr. Cohn is also the former managing director and currently non-executive director of professional services company MEC Mining where he remains one of the major shareholders. MEC is a leading global technical consulting firm with over 100 employees spanning environmental management, exploration and mine geology, resource estimation, mining engineering, geotechnical engineering and project management.
