Spencer Cole is a mining executive and engineer with more than 25 years’ experience across the global resources sector, spanning project development, operational leadership, finance and corporate transactions. Most recently, he served as Chief Development Officer and Chief Financial Officer of Xanadu Mines Ltd (ASX: XAM), playing a key role in advancing the Kharmagtai copper-gold project in Mongolia prior to its acquisition by Boroo Mining in 2025.
Prior to Xanadu,Mr Cole spent 12 years with Newcrest Mining Limited (ASX: NCM) in senior executive and operational roles supporting project development, technical studies, strategic planning and operational performance. Mr Cole brings significant expertise in project evaluation, mine development strategy and the advancement of mining operations through staged growth and development pathways.
