Sue is an experienced industry leader who has held senior technical and operational roles within the manufacturing, biotechnology and mining sectors.  

With 25 years’ experience in the resource industry, she is currently a member of the senior management team at Fosterville Gold Mine. Sue provides leadership to a team that is recognised globally as being leaders in the operation of bacterial oxidation plants, and the development of several innovative technologies.

Sue is adept at identifying where shared value can be created between industry groups; stakeholders and the community at large and has a track record of influencing positive outcomes. She is passionate about creative thinking and promoting opportunities that can build a brighter future.

In 2020, Sue was awarded the Exceptional Woman in Victorian Resources Award by MCA Victoria and AusIMM Women in Mining and Resources Network Victoria. The awards recognises the achievements of women in resources for their leadership and their work in promoting the industry's social licence to operate.

Sue holds a Bachelor degree in Materials and Manufacturing Engineering (University of Queensland), and Graduate Diplomas in Metallurgy and Project Management. She is also a member of the Monash University Resource Engineering Advisory Committee.
