Thomas Kruemmer

With four decades in international raw materials trade and deep roots in Asia, Thomas Krümmer is one of the world’s foremost authorities on the rare earths industry. Based in Singapore, he leads GITI — a specialist consulting, trade and investment firm focused on rare earths and non-ferrous alloys — advising investors and industry leaders on commercial strategy and market dynamics.

Having held senior executive roles across China and Japan with leading commodity and chemical companies, Thomas combines hands-on trading experience with geopolitical and policy insight. As former Chair of the EU Chamber of Commerce in China’s Metals & Mining Working Group, he shaped EU-China dialogue on metals trade, drafting position papers and engaging directly with government counterparts.
