Trevor Fawcett is a Specialist Disposal with Rio Tinto Iron Ore and has more than 20 years of experience across mining, rail, port operations, asset management, and asset disposal. He specialises in developing practical and compliant solutions for the disposal, reuse, resale, and recycling of end-of-life mining assets and materials.
In recent years, Trevor has led initiatives focused on conveyor belt and OTR tyre circularity, helping develop scalable recycling and resource recovery pathways that transform used rubber products into valuable secondary resources. His work combines operational practicality, commercial value, and sustainability outcomes, supporting the mining industry's transition towards a more circular economy.
Provides a platform for up to ten representatives to bring their viewpoint and experience on a topic, to debate and engage in challenging conversations and discuss pivotal issues that will drive the mining industry forward, in an open roundtable setting on the showfloor.
