Astron Limited is an ASX-listed critical minerals company advancing the globally significant Donald Rare Earth and Mineral Sands Project in Victoria, Australia, in joint venture with US partner Energy Fuels. The fully approved, shovel-ready project will help secure Western supply chains for critical minerals vital to defence, advanced manufacturing and clean energy. Located in north-west Victoria, the project hosts the world's largest zircon resource and one of the largest rare earth resources outside China. Energy Fuels has the offtake rights to 100% of the rare earth element concentrate for processing at its White Mesa Mill in Utah, supporting a vertically integrated Western rare earth supply chain from mine to magnet spanning Australia, the United States and Germany. Astron retains the offtake rights to 100% of the zirconium and titanium dioxide minerals. The joint venture is targeting a Final Investment Decision this quarter, with first production expected in 2028. Astron brings more than 35 years' experience in mineral sands processing and downstream product development.
