Lynas Rare Earths Limited is an Australian publicly listed company headquartered in Perth, Western Australia. The world’s only significant producer of separated rare earth materials outside of China, Lynas was established an ethical and environmentally responsible producer of rare earth materials for global manufacturing supply chains in east Asia, Europe and North America.

Lynas offers assured provenance from mine to finished rare earth materials through our integrated and secure supply chain. This starts at our high grade Mt Weld mine in Western Australia, acknowledged as one of the world’s premier rare earths deposits. Concentrate sourced from Mt Weld is then processed at our Rare Earths Processing Facility in Kalgoorlie, Western Australia, and the Lynas Malaysia advanced materials plant in Kuantan, Malaysia.  

Rare earth materials are known as the ‘’vitamins’’ of manufacturing due to their special properties – magnetic, electrical, optical and catalytic. Lynas’ rare earth materials are used in many high tech and future facing applications, including electronics, wind turbines and hybrid and electric vehicles.
