Prasannah Kumar

Prasannah (Pras) leads Jacobs’ Sales organisation across Australia and New Zealand, driving and supporting the execution of strategies to grow market share, expand services and convert key opportunities to deliver outcomes in the form of business growth and bottom line. 

Previously, Pras led the Cities and Places, Environmental Solutions, Defence & Regional Security, and Advisory business, overseeing 800+ professionals delivering smart city designs, energy transition pathways, climate resilience, and national security solutions.

He began his career in the resources sector before moving into energy and later specialised in transaction advisory and due diligence. Pras has held key leadership roles, including expanding Jacobs’ power strategy into Asia, establishing water utility operations in India, and accelerating growth in energy and resources across Australia’s East Coast.

Pras is a Director of Jacobs Group (Australia) Pty Ltd, Executive Sponsor of Jacobs Women’s Network, a Fellow of Engineers Australia, and holds an MBA and degrees in science and engineering
