Benjamin Rieck is General Manager of Intertek Business Assurance Australasia, with more than 19 years’ experience across assurance, risk, sustainability, advisory and management consulting.
Benjamin works with organisations to strengthen governance, transparency, and assurance across complex global supply chains, with expertise in responsible sourcing, human rights due diligence, ESG, supplier risk and sustainability assurance. He was part of the Intertek team that worked with Tyre Stewardship Australia (TSA) to conceptualise, develop, and implement its Foreign End Market Verification (FEMV) program. The program provides independent verification of overseas facilities receiving Australian end-of-life tyres and tyre-derived materials, assessing areas including labour practices, health and safety, environmental management, operational controls, and supply-chain integrity.
Intertek continues to support the FEMV program through its Inlight platform, desktop verification, on-site Audits, and follow-up assurance activities across international end markets. In his role at Intertek, Benjamin leads multidisciplinary teams supporting organisations across all industries, including mining, resources, manufacturing, and retail, to build practical, risk-based approaches to responsible supply chains, circularity, and sustainable business.
