Joachim Sawkins is the Circularity & Sustainability Manager for Castrol ANZ, leading programs across Australia and the Asia Pacific region focused on resource recovery and reuse, innovation and sustainable value creation. Through partnerships with mining companies, industry, government, and re-refiners, he works to transform used lubricants and into valuable resources, supporting both environmental outcomes and commercial performance.
With a background including mining sales, business development, strategic partnerships, and industry advocacy, Joachim has the opportunity to demonstrate how collaboration across the value chain can help the resources sector create long-term value for businesses, communities, and the environment. He also serves as Chairman of the Australian Lubricant Association (ALA), providing the opportunity to work closely across the broader lubricant industry.
